the rinobond method

The RhinoBond method is currently the only system that meets the new FM 1-90 standards for mechanically attached single-ply membrane systems. This method represents a major advancement in the roofing sector and is one of the most innovative fastening systems for TPO membrane roof installations.

The RhinoBond method uses a system that bonds the TPO membrane to the substrate based on induction welding technology, forming a strong bond between the membrane and the specially coated plates. This alternative system uses the same fastener and plate to secure the membrane and the insulation to the deck. Also, since the fastener points are spread across the entire roof in a grid pattern rather than on the edge of the membrane, the wind load is distributed more evenly. The system does not create any point of entry for moisture, virtually eliminates flutter, and provides superior wind uplift performance (less movement means less noise and less stress on the anchoring systems).

Roofing installed with the RhinoBond system requires 25% to 50% fewer fasteners than standard systems and fewer TPO membrane seams.

The RhinoBond fastening system offers the ideal fastening solution. For further information, please contact us.
